Hurry Up & Stay Silent !

• A cross-section of a large, metallic vent system travels with Pipes, rivets, and wires that are visible with the dusty air and dimly lit.

  The vent stretches deep into the shadow, leaving a portion of a bright orange and white, furry tail visible.

• Tails is nervous with purpose, but still could not believe he is crawling around Eggman’s dark, metal vent shaft, mixed with grimy pipes & wires that ran along the sides that was covered in spiderwebs with little red eggs in them.

• His fluffy, orange tail played as a swiffer for half the trip, disappearing into the darkness of the vent and deeper into the factory. (Dust motes fill in the air inside the vent space as Tails moved in silence w/ speed)

  "Eggman's factory... somewhere deep…

• Tails sees a grate in the floor below. Light filters up from the factory floor below.

  (Tails's peeks down through the grate)

  Seeing a series of robotic or animalistic creatures in red suits that are shuffling about, working and keeping the factory active for all of Eggman’s creations.

  They are doing mindless work Tail’s thinks as he keeps moving.

  Some are carrying crates, others are operating machinery, but everyone was doing something even if it was peaceful conversation for a moment.

  (whispered) "Whirr... Clank..."

Tail’s Focus!

Tails inside the vent wondering to himself as he came to a stop at a room full of jars?

Tails : "What ARE those things?"

Ssshhh... Slither... Tail has stopped. A faint, eerie glow emanates from his right.

Tails eyes began pointing towards the light reaching into the cracks of the vent opening. In one look Tails can see a sliver of light from the room escaping.

• Tails (Whispered): "Hmm...what's that?"

  The room is a cluttered laboratory. Shelves are packed with glass jars of various sizes. Inside each jar is a strange, unique creature

  (glowing slugs, multi-eyed insects, bioluminescent plants, etc.).

  Some creatures are active, others are dormant. Gurgle... Hiss... Click...

  (Sounds from the jars that entered Tails ears)

Tails is shocked by what he is seeing in Eggman’s factory, he feels Extreme sadness as the tail tip, hangs outside the end of an opening vent behind him. (with the lab still in soft focus)

Out of no where, an owl wearing a meticulously tailored red suit is standing, looking directly at the vent. He has a slightly too-tight red Eggman uniform (Like all workers) and is worried with a harried looking frown.

His tail hairs stand on end. Professor Hoot walked closer to the main vent, passing the last of creatures in jars.

Professor Hoot is walking briskly as the pipes run along the ceiling, releasing steam occasionally with double hisses.

Professor Hoot still unsure of what he was seeing, since tail’s did not move at all.

(clearly curious and a little unnerved)

• Professor Hoot: Something is very strange! ( Coming closer to Tails)

Tails's tail twitches nervously as he starts pulling it back slightly, His fur starts to slightly raise.

 Professor Hoot stops dead in his tracks while hovering over the vent, His eyes widen slightly.

(Professor Hoot staring at the vent in disbelief that anything was in Eggman's ventilation system!)

Professor Hoot: ... it must be the fumes (Thinking to himself before returning to daily duties for Eggman)

Back On Time!

Machines hum and spark as Tails keeps moving past the webs to all the wires sparking, and alarms blare in the background as he crawls further to his goal.

Tails feeling cramped in the vent shaft. Finally dim light filters in from an opening ahead that grow smaller with his excitement.

• Tails pushing himself forward, his brow furrowed in concentration.

  SCRAPE... SHUFFLE...

• Tails : Almost there... just gotta squeeze through this last bit...

At the end of the vent, the grate in between his freedom was slightly askew.

Tails pulls and start using a small wrench to pry open the vent grate, as beads of sweat collect on his forehead.

• Hours of careful planning and tinkering finally pay off...

Room Full Of Extra Parts

Tails is peeking out of the grate, his eyes wide with surprise. Tails crawls completely out of the vent, He looks up at the ceiling, which has exposed wiring.

Tails had fallen on the floor, not setting off the Interior alarm, Tails stands up dusting himself off before taking a 360 in the main part of the room. The room is filled with spare parts: robotic arms, discarded monitors, broken Badnik shells, piles of gears, and wires strewn everywhere.

• Tails (lost in happiness): "Whoa... I wasn't expecting this..."

  THUD. ...cough, cough...A labyrinth of discarded dreams and broken promises was all that Tails could see in the lost room of robotic gold inside of Eggman’s factory.
