Q&A Vol.1 : The Echoes Of Tinashe & Years Into The Quantum City (Sept.17)
Tinashe In the Quantum Sands
The hushed anticipation in the studio was palpable.
Interviewer: Aliy, should be just skip into whats the hardest part about "Tinashe: Interlude" and how is it a game changer… Can you begin by telling us, in your own words, what this all is all about?
Aliy Menrel: Yes, um the hardest part is not being able to stop typing, listening to my brother on the illustrator images are the only way to keep everyone reading, hard over all was giving freedom to let my mind take a break from the sugar rush i was on, for what could be a bigger than what my ideals Albert Pyun could ever do! Well for what has never been done so far in just Ai Images alone, nothing has ever been done this way in creation of a future film.
(Not in history)
Aliy Menrel, author of the critically acclaimed "Black Blood Series," sat poised, a gentle smile gracing his lips, ready to pull back the curtain on his latest, and perhaps most enigmatic, installment: "Tinashe: Interlude."
Known for his intricate world-building and compelling character arcs, Menrel’s work often feels less like reading and more like living alongside his creations.
Today, we delve into the heart of "Tinashe," a novel that promises to redefine the series and ignite the imaginations of a global audience.
Interviewer: Aliy, thank you for joining us. "Tinashe: Interlude" has generated an extraordinary buzz. Can you begin by telling us, in your own words, what this book is all about?
Aliy Menrel: Thank you for having me. "Quantum City: “Tinashe Interlude" is, at its core, an exploration of inherited destinies and the courage it takes to forge your own path, especially when that path is laden with the weight of generations. Our protagonist, Tinashe, is a young woman living in a society deeply intertwined with ancient traditions and a mystical lineage. The "Black Blood" isn't just a descriptor; it’s a palpable force, a shared heritage that binds her from the real world, while she is missing out of the current one, but also a cage of expectations. This novel is her journey through that labyrinth, a quest for self-discovery amidst the echoes of her ancestors.
Interviewer: The title itself, "Interlude," is intriguing. What does that signify within the broader "Black Blood Series"?
Aliy Menrel: "Interlude" suggests a pause, a shift in tempo. While the preceding books laid the groundwork for the world and its overarching conflicts, "Tinashe" acts as a crucial bridge. It delves deeper into the personal consequences of the larger narrative, focusing on a character whose choices will undeniably ripple outwards. It’s a moment of introspection for the series, a chance to examine the individual within the grand tapestry of the "Black Blood" legacy. It’s also a period of intense personal growth for Tinashe, as she grapples with her identity and her place in a world that seems to have already decided it for her.
Interviewer: You mentioned the "Black Blood" lineage. Can you elaborate on its significance and how it impacts Tinashe's story?
Aliy Menrel: The "Black Blood" is 2012 written… very complex. It's a source of immense power, but also a source of immense responsibility. It’s a conduit to ancient wisdom, to heightened senses, and to extraordinary abilities. However, it also carries with it the burden of past mistakes, of unresolved conflicts, and of a rigid social structure that dictates one's role based on their bloodline. Tinashe is coming into her own power, but she’s also realizing that the legacy she’s inherited isn’t necessarily the one she wants. She’s questioning the very foundations of their society, and that’s a dangerous game to play when you’re a custodian of such a powerful heritage.
Interviewer: Without giving too much away, what can readers expect in terms of themes and emotional resonance?
Aliy Menrel: We're touching on themes of identity, of rebellion against imposed narratives, and of the universal struggle for autonomy. Tinashe faces internal conflicts as much as external ones. She’s torn between loyalty to her people and fan that are the undeniable pull of her own desires and beliefs. Readers can expect moments of exhilarating discovery, of profound vulnerability, and of heart-wrenching decisions. It's a story about finding your voice in heated blood mixed in sand! forget when ‘Lizard-Snakes’ snapping at you to stay silent. It’s about the quiet strength that can emerge from the deepest doubt.
Interviewer: Your worlds are always so vividly realized. What kind of setting have you created for "Tinashe"?
Aliy Menrel: The setting for "Tinashe" is inspired by the vast, untamed beauty of parts of Africa and other places from storybooks that my childhood wont let me leave behind, but infused with a fantastical, almost elemental quality. We have majestic landscapes, vibrant cultures, and hidden corners where the ancient magic of the "Black Blood" still thrives. It's a world that feels both ancient and alive, where the natural world is deeply connected to the mystical forces at play. We’ll see sprawling savannahs, hidden oasis cities, and perhaps even some forgotten ruins that hold the keys to the past.
Interviewer: Now, for the question on everyone’s lips: the announcement of a potential film adaptation. How does it feel to maybe see "Tinashe" and the "Black Blood Series" potentially brought to the big screen in the future?
Aliy Menrel: if it happens? It will be… surreal but not expected, far off into my budget on what Warner bro can afford what i have created from Ai images that guide whatever film of vision is decided later on, in the most wonderful way. When I first started writing, it was a world that existed solely within my imagination.
(After going on my first concert EVER!) To think that Tinashe, with all her struggles before wins, and the world of the "Black Blood" might soon be experienced by millions globally, in a visual medium, is an incredible honor. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling and the dedication of so many who have connected with the series and True FREEDOM.
Interviewer: Have there been discussions about who might be involved, or what the vision for the film might be?
Aliy Menrel: Her father MICHEAL has to be lead of it…maybe Denzel W. or it wont be right to my eyes of what i want or visualized of it all becoming. ( She is my lara, laya, and muse of untouched beauty ) There have been exciting preliminary discussions, yes. The vision is to remain as true to the spirit of the book as possible, while also embracing the cinematic medium. We want to capture the breathtaking landscapes, the intensity of the action, and most importantly, the emotional core of Tinashe’s journey. The hope is to translate the unique visual language of the "Black Blood" world to the screen, making it an immersive and unforgettable experience. We're looking for a team that understands the soul of this story, that can bring both the magic and the raw humanity to life.
(I really want everyone to understand NASHE has more Images due to my first book)
Tina-she Scene! By Aliy Menrel
Interviewer: What kind of impact do you hope "Tinashe: Interlude" will have on the "Black Blood Series" as a whole?
Aliy Menrel: Well i keep it all in the mind of all the films i can go back and watch films that are forgotten but not withing each chapter or character like George T. Miller gave in all his films. I hope it deepens the audience's understanding and appreciation for the nuances of this world and its inhabitants i am mixing into what lost words of a boy who still crying wolf. I want readers to feel a stronger connection to Tinashe, to root for her like as she navigates these complex challenges. Ultimately, I hope it leaves them eager to see where her journey, and the "Black Blood Series," will lead next. This is not just a chapter/interlude; it’s a turning point, and I’m thrilled for readers to experience it.
Interviewer: Aliy Menrel, thank you for sharing your insights into "Tinashe: Interlude." We eagerly await its release and the potential cinematic journey that awaits,
Aliy Menrel: The pleasure was all mine. Thank you, um idk i kinda wanna be like Zack Snyder and keep it for later! (I could kill myself over it being disrespected or hated later, due to how my writing of the story shifts on a more permanently dark phase of her story from my energy at the time so its best i protect it from being ruined like everything thats fake in the world fighting to be real?)
I can say for sure the breaks help like getting lost on a island or in another world…like Quantum City.
Remember "BlackBlood: “Tinashe Interlude" isn't just a new book; it's a gateway, a promise of what’s to come, and a testament to the enduring power of a story that resonates across genres and, hopefully soon, across screens. The echoes of Tinashe are just beginning to be heard.
Kind of like my live voice takes of the Goliath waking up & Tinashe is first to face him!

Aliy Menrel: This is proof that my voice will be the connection to the soundtrack that is being remastered before the 2025 year is over, i am back in the studio to finish up and this is only part of where i am going to push my voice. We are free to play with our lungs before they no longer work, so ill change the tune, falling in the last 2 Quantum Soundtracks, so Thank you. It was a pleasure!
(I know what ill be doing before 2027 & “Tinashe” is all i can say!)
The interviewer smiled, a genuine warmth in their expression that mirrored the anticipation radiating from the studio audience. We shifted, our gaze now falling on a precisely placed replica of a ceremonial dagger, its hilt intricately carved with symbols that Aliy (i) had painstakingly described in my books.
Interviewer: Before we conclude, there's one more thing that's been fueling much speculation. Your dedication in Tinashe: Interlude reads, "To those who dare to question the shadows, for in their depths, we find our truest light." This has resonated deeply with many readers, particularly in the context of Tinashe's internal struggle against the established order. Could you expand on the personal significance of this dedication?
Aliy Menrel: (A soft smile played on the lips.) That dedication is for everyone who has ever felt the pull of a different path, even when the way forward is obscured by fear or tradition. It’s for anyone who’s looked at a comfortable, predictable existence and felt a profound sense of dissatisfaction, a yearning for something more authentic. The shadows, as I see them, aren't just external threats or societal constraints. They're also the uncertainties within ourselves, the doubts, the things we're afraid to confront because we've been told they're not part of our legacy. Tinashe's journey is about facing those shadows, both within her lineage and within her own heart. It's about realizing that stepping out of the darkness, even if it means stepping into the unknown, is where true liberation and self-discovery lie. It’s a reminder that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the decision to move forward despite it.
Interviewer: That's a powerful sentiment. And speaking of the "Black Blood Series" as a whole, what are your aspirations for its future beyond the potential film adaptation? Are there other stories, other characters, or even other eras within this world that you're eager to explore?
Aliy Menrel: You all are going to die… well and thats pretty much it! but to give a fair answer Oh, absolutely. The "Black Blood" world is vast, and Tinashe's story is just one thread in a much larger tapestry. I have so many characters in mind, individuals whose own "interludes" are waiting to be written on a solo Joyride. There are elders whose wisdom is steeped in centuries of tradition, young apprentices on the cusp of discovering their own unique manifestations of the Black Blood, and even those who have been ostracized from its influence for their perceived transgressions. I'm particularly intrigued by the ancient history of the Black Blood itself – its origins, the cataclysmic events that shaped its power, and the forgotten civilizations that perhaps understood it in ways we no longer do. The potential for exploration is immense, and I have a lifetime's worth of stories I’d love to tell within this universe. The series is designed to be a saga, not just a single narrative.
Interviewer: That's incredibly exciting news for your fans. Before we wrap up, do you have any final words of encouragement or a message you'd like to share with your readers who are eagerly anticipating Tinashe: Interlude?
Aliy Menrel: My deepest hope is that the Black Blood Tinashe: Interlude offers a space for readers to reflect on their own journeys. I hope Tinashe’s courage inspires them to be brave in their own lives, to question the expectations placed upon them, and to actively pursue their own truths, however challenging that may be. Remember that even in the heart of tradition, there is always room for personal evolution. Embrace your own ‘Black Blood,’ whatever form it takes, and let it guide you not to conformity, but to authenticity. Thank you all INCLUDING Tinashe for your incredible support.
But like Tinashe i will be Getting No Sleep into im really happy with what i created and can look at without doubt.
Nashe Getting No Sleep / Quantum City Concept
The interviewer nodded, a satisfied smile returning!
Interviewer: "Aliy Menrel, thank you once again for this illuminating conversation. We eagerly await the release of Tinashe: Interlude and look forward to witnessing this beautiful "pause" in the epic saga of the Black Blood."
The camera zoomed out, leaving the audience with the lingering sense of a world brimming with untold stories, a testament to the power of a writer who dared to delve into the shadows and illuminate the path to self-discovery…
The buzz around Tinashe: Interlude was not just about a new book; it was about a deeper understanding of a world and a character poised on the brink of something extraordinary.
But when will it come out! -???
( Most of all, what will come next after its all said & done?)
